On Saturday 5th of April 2025 at our Installation Meeting Worshipful Brother Joe Richardson was installed in the Chair of King Solomon at The United Grand Lodge of England, Great Queen Street London.
In Memory of Philip Gibson
On February 11th 2026 the Members and Visitors celebrated the sad passing of our esteemed Brother Phil Gibson who departed to The Grand Lodge above on 26th of November 2025. The Lodge was called off and memebrs and visitors recanted tales of Phils life consisting of tricks and practical jokes played on many of us within The Lodge as well as his devotion and love for his family and friends. As "Grandfather" of the Lodge he will be sadly missed by everyone who were lucky enough to make his aquaintance
Christmas 2025 Meeting
On December 13th 2025 Beacon Light held their Christmas meeting at Great Queen Street wher Brother Gavin Wetherall was Raised to the Degree of a Master Mason in an excellent Ceromony followed by the annual ritual of murdering Christams carols accompanied by an excellent Festive Board of roast turkey and all the trimmings
Following Beacon Light Lodge's contribution of £500 to Metropolitan Grand Lodges Royal British Legion's annual appeal we were presnted with the logo shown to be used on all our correspondence
The meeting was well attended and the ceremony was carried out to an exceptional standard with a number of the members and visitors pitching in to help spread the work.
As well as being an excellent venue the 3 course meal accompanied with wine was enjoyed by all the Brethren. Beacon Light Lodge pride itself on the camaraderie and warm welcome afforded to visitors to the lodge, many of whom become joining members
Our Secretary David Hall completed a 26 mile MacMillan Mighty Hike along the coastline of Norfolk and was supported by the members of The Lodge raisng over £500
Our esteemed member and former Secretary of the Lodge for over 20 years Phil Gibson received 50 years in Chapter Certificate from the Metropolitan Grand Inspector
